Dear Friends,

Wow!! At last I am back, after an  enjoyable time with my family and friends at home.  I feel so good to be back with you, all rested (not really; imagine that 24 hour flight!).  I must  say I had some really good quality time with my Mom and my family members.

By the way, I am one year older than when I left on my vacation and thank you for all your prayers, cards and greetings.

One month flew by  so fast,  but I am  happy that I had a fruitful vacation and I am so happy to be back to work. We are going to be busy during the summer, as we have fifteen weddings and other celebrations including our parish Picnic in June and Confirmation on the 11th of May.

Thank you once again for all your prayers and good wishes.  Let us once again join hands to build our Church community stronger and faith filled.

Enjoy this beautiful weather!

Fr Augustin George

Quote from Bishop Baraga:  “Spring is a joyful time for me: I can again undertake mission journeys and seek the lost sheep of Christ.”

NOW AND FOREVER

Guide me, God, from day to day,

Whatever I do, whatever I say,

Help lift me up whenever I fall,

Help me to find some good in all….

Through darkest nights and sunlit days

Help me rejoice and sing Your praise,

And always, always help me be

Your loving child eternally.

SACRED HEART SCHOOL

Whether you are spring cleaning or just looking to downsize some of your stuff, you can recycle your gently used items by donating them to the Sacred Heart School rummage sale. We are seeking donations for our June sale. Call Diane Richard (524-7224) or the school (524-5157) for more information.

It is getting to be that time of year – graduation parties, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, and wedding receptions. If you are throwing a party for someone in your family and planning to buy the necessary table top accoutrements, remember that it presents a great opportunity to support Sacred Heart School. Scrip cards for Gordon Foods Service (GFS) and WalMart can be purchased at the school in denominations of $25.00 and $100.00 and Larry’s Market in denominations of $25.00 and $50.00. You get face value for the card, but a percentage of what you spend stays to help fund Catholic education. Additional funds can be earned at GFS when you use your “Fun Funds” card at the time of purchase.
