If you would like more tickets, please contact Auxiliary members or get them at the rectory.

Thank you very much for your generosity!

NOTE: Your packets of raffle tickets are placed in back of church and will remain there for two weekends. Those that aren’t picked up will be mailed.

GRATEFUL THANKS

A big hand and a sincere thank you to Bev, Rosie, Pam, Mary Ann and Anne for their hard work in decorating for Holy Week. Palm Sunday was beautiful in red and green. Holy Thursday took on a dimension of color and light as we celebrated the Holy Eucharist and the Priesthood. Flowers were donated by the family of Ursula Sands.

Preparing for Good Friday extends a thank you to the many people who helped take down the Holy Thursday décor to prepare us for the solemnity of the death of our Lord. Again, the ladies spent a great part of their Saturday decorating for Easter Vigil and Easter morning Mass. Without you, ladies, this could not have happened.

Dear Friends,

It is with great joy that I am writing this from my home in India.  When I look back to Holy Week and the Easter Celebrations, I have a lot of things to thank God for; the beautiful Masses and Services, the good turnout and above all, a lot of good people working together to make the Easter Celebration so beautiful.  To all of you a big THANK YOU.

Here in my state Kerala, in India, we are getting some unusual summer showers which to tell you the truth is good for me.  Otherwise I was coming to a temperature in low 90s.  My Mom, my brothers and sister are all doing fine and the first thing we did was to offer a Mass for my Dad on the sixth anniversary of his death.

It is so good to be back home but definitely I am starting to miss you all.  I have already set apart a few days to visit some sick members in my family and my priest friends and then pretty much stay with my Mom.

Thank you for your Easter and Birthday wishes and special gifts. I will definitely cherish them.  Let the celebration of Divine Mercy Sunday be a time for us once again to recognize His Mercy and trust in it.  All my best wishes and prayers to you from a little village in India, almost 10,000 miles away.

May God bless you and your family.

Fr Augustin
